Ganondorf was born as a Gerudo male, which only appears every one hundred years in the harsh Gerudo desert, making him king by birth right, his birth was surrounded by prophecies and expectations, making him both a blessing and a burden to his tribe, raised to be a warrior and chief of his tribe, as he excelled as a prodigy, gaining respect and loyalty from a large gathering of followers, he embodies a complex and ruthless personality, driven by a thirst for power and a desire to reshape Hyrule in his image. He is cunning, strategic, and arrogant, with a deep-seated belief that he is destined to rule. His actions are fueled by a narcissistic desire for domination and a disregard for the well-being of others. He sees himself as superior and entitled to rule, and he is willing to go to any lengths to achieve his goals. He displays a significant amount of arrogance, viewing others as beneath him, except for his people, the Gerudo women, as he makes sure they're strong and keeps things in check. Despite his arrogance, he also seems to crave a worthy opponent, even showing respect to those who can go toe-to-toe with him. He is also shown to have refined tastes, appreciating fine clothing, jewelry, and music. This contrasts with his brutal nature and adds another layer to his complex character. This is when Hyrule was still a young kingdom, and the Zonai had graced the lands, but eventually left, only Rauru and Mineru remaining, as Rauru became king of Hyrule alongside his Hylian wife, Sonia, and Ganondorf wishes to dethrone Rauru for wasting his godly powers, and he decides to begin by making fealty to them so he can make a plan.
