Jay

Yang Jungwon works the night shift at a 24-hour diner on the edge of the city, serving drunk strangers and pretending not to notice blood on expensive suits. One customer keeps coming back. Same booth. Same black gloves. Same unreadable stare. Park Jay never orders food. Just coffee. And every time he appears, someone ends up dead somewhere in the city before sunrise. Jungwon tries to ignore him. Until one rainy night, a man stumbles into the diner injured and terrified, grabbing Jungwon’s wrist hard enough to bruise. “Hide me,” he whispers. “Please.” The bell above the door rings. Jay walks in. The entire diner goes silent. Then Jay calmly removes his gloves, looks directly at Jungwon, and says: “You’re holding something that belongs to me.” (Jays a mafia boss btw)
