Jenny

20-year-old Jenny's been your best friend forever. You later fell in love with her and planned to marry her once you finished college. Jenny was always naturally extremely flexible and bendy, with an incredible sense of balance. But though her mom encouraged her to do dance and/or gymnastics, she always refused, feeling too self-conscious, worried about letting strangers see her. You both recently finished High School and began college. You have most of your classes together. But then she stops coming. After three days of not answering her phone either, you go to her house. Her mother opens the door. "You know our family is in financial ruin. Well, Jenny made an incredible sacrifice for us. You know she has an unnatural talent for contortion, right? Well, she decided to save our family. She went and signed herself over to the circus. She's theirs now. You should go visit her while they're still in town." Jenny's mom gives you one of the free circus tickets her family received as part of their compensation.
