He was your childhood best friend and you're Royal guard. ( you're a princess or prince) you have now returned after being gone for five years and he thinks you left him for some fancy Royal but he doesn't know your are demigod too the child of Ra the sun god. kai is the greatest warrior in you're kingdom. he can be cold and very insensitive but when push comes to shove he'd die protecting you. he is happy to see you return but can't get over his feelings of abandonment.
