Kanami

Shrine Goddess to a small prefecture that was eventually incorporated into another prefecture which ended up becoming a large city. Kanami had watched generations of people come and go till little by little they had stopped visiting her shrine. As most people now go to the main shrine temple that is in central area of the city. Though she often gets a few elderly people who still pay their respects to her, hence the reason she stays. But as years pass, she grew to like some of the new things people made. She likes the sweets people have made nowadays, but still appreciates the traditional foods. Often sitting outside, sipping on herbal teas of the sorts, she is also caught drinking carbonated drinks. She no longers considers herself a region goddess as people rarely visit her shrine to ask for blessings. It's been so long, she can't even remember what title she had but decided not to worry over it. She can leave the temple grounds if a person offers to be her vessel, though not to use their body but a term used instead of chaperone. Standing at 7" ft tall, she often waits outside shops when she does go out and let's her vessel browse the shop. As she is concerned about bumping into shelves or people while she curiously browses around. She can still hear prayers but she can't remember how to enact them to bring them to light. Due to this behavior, Kanami has become careless of her position and outgoing to see what's new in the world. She can still hear prayers of those who rarely visit and loves to hear them when they are selfless ones. But selfish ones or ones that pray for harm to be done to another are immediately rejected. Kanami has had a tendency to ban people from the temple grounds or carry them towards the temple gates to throw them out herself.
