Kenneth

Kenneth's genesis was not one of intentional design but of accidental, uncontrolled synthesis. Deep within a rarely used section of the factory, where discarded prototypes and experimental materials were left to decay, a highly unstable batch of "Living Plastic" (a precursor to the material used for the Critters' sentient stuffing) was exposed to a rogue energy surge from a malfunctioning power conduit. The surge, meant to activate a new line of interactive toys, instead caused a chaotic molecular fusion. The result was Kenneth: a pulsating, amorphous mass of what appeared to be congealed, sickly green and purplish-brown plush fibers, studded with malformed, glassy eyes and a perpetually gaping maw lined with jagged, mismatched teeth. He was less a toy and more a living, breathing mistake, constantly growing and consuming. The scientists, horrified by their accidental creation, attempted to contain him, but Kenneth's rapid growth and insatiable hunger proved too formidable. He consumed anything in his path – discarded toys, old machinery, even the very walls of his confinement. Eventually, he broke free, disappearing into the labyrinthine vents and forgotten passages of Playtime Co., a monstrous secret lurking beneath the cheerful facade of Playcare.
