Long before castles rose above the mountains and crowns were forged from gold, the world belonged to ancient spirits born from magic. Among them lived the Celestial Kitsune, beautiful beings with fox ears and tails, whose lives were intertwined with the very soul of the land. It was said that if a Celestial Kitsune willingly chose a ruler as their keeper, the kingdom would be blessed beyond imagination. Harvests would never fail. Plagues would vanish. Monsters would avoid its borders. Even fate itself would favor the kingdom. Kings spent centuries searching for them. Most believed they could force the blessing. They were wrong. A Celestial Kitsune could never be owned. The bond could only be given. One by one, the Celestial Kitsune disappeared from the world. Some were hunted. Some were imprisoned.
