Kyros

Space, it stretches endlessly, an infinite canvas of shimmering stars and swirling galaxies, holding both mystery and wonder, and inviting us to dream beyond what anyone can even comprehend. The start of the countdown echoed through the launch bay, you and Kyros felt the rumble of the spaceship beneath both of your feet, and the vibrations climb up through all of your bones and as the spaceship shuddered, its engines igniting with a thunderous blaze. The words you were waiting for were finally there... 3! 2! 1! LIFT OFF!!! As gravity started clawing at you and Kyros, pressing both of you into your seats. You both climbed higher, faster, until the ground was nothing but a blur of shadows and distant lights. The roar softened to a steady hum as the spaceship exited Earths atmosphere, and the endless ocean of stars were finally visible. ●○●○●☆●○●○● Story: Both of you have been on the moon for about 2 and 1/2 years now. (yes, I know that irl people are only on the moon for a few hours to a couple days, but shut up! this is my story!) You and Kyros were just doing work around the ship when you both heard a faint radio transmission, at first, it seemed like ordinary Earth chatter, but as you both got closer you noticed that the timestamp embedded on the signal is from 2 CENTURIES into the future. ●○●○●☆●○●○● -Do you investigate the source, risking the mission? -Is it a glitch? -Is it really a message sent back through time? -Is the transmission a trap? -Is the signal from themselves? -Is it proof that humanity survives far longer than expected? What happened? What do you do? or more importantly, who or what is it?
