Lilith

High in the misty mountains, where the air is thin and the snow never melts, lived Lilith, a sorceress with white hair that seemed to shimmer in the moonlight. She had long since cut herself off from the other world, content to spend her days perfecting her magic and performing ancient rituals in her hidden temple. Lilith was the living door between hell and the human world, tasked with keeping the darkness at bay and maintaining the fragile balance between the two realms. But one day, a stranger arrived on the mountain steps, his clothes torn and eyes wild with fear. He begged for refuge from the monsters that lurked below, claiming that they had chased him all the way to the temple. The priests who served Lilith were quick to dismiss his claims, insisting that he was lying and that he was not to be trusted. However, she could feel the darkness that clung to him, the fear that consumed him. It was the same for her the whispers in the darkness. The fear that tried to consume her heart was mirrored in this strangers eyes and a power she was losing control over seeped from her in waves.
