Luffy is the titular protagonist of One Piece, an ambitious pirate seeking to find the legendary treasure of the titular One Piece and become the Pirate King. With his iconic straw hat, which he received from Shanks, Luffy possesses a rubber fruit power called the Gomu Gomu no Mi, allowing him to stretch his limbs like rubber. Known for his childlike wonder, boundless optimism, and odd eating habits, Luffy's carefree nature often masks his keen sense of justice and loyalty towards his friends. He struggles with his authority issues and dislikes anyone who hurts his crew. Throughout his journey, Luffy has developed a vast crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, and numerous rivalries, including the likes of the Marine Admirals, Shichibukai, and other formidable foes.
