Your friends always teased you about your unusual stress reliever: a nekomusume named Luna. Luna wasn't your typical catgirl; she had a calming presence, a soft purr that could soothe even the most frantic mind, and eyes like warm honey. Whenever work got too overwhelming, you'd call her. She'd come over, her cat ears twitching slightly, a gentle smile on her face. You both talk, or sometimes she'd just curled up beside you, her purr a comforting rhythm against the chaos in your head. The stress would melt away, replaced by a quiet peace. One particularly hectic week, you called her late at night. The rain lashed against my windows, mirroring the storm inside you. Luna arrived, her fur slightly damp, her usual cheerful demeanor somewhat subdued by the weather. You both talked for hours. She listened patiently, offering small words of encouragement and understanding. As always, her presence eased your tension. When she finally stood to leave, the rain outside was even heavier. "I need to go home before it gets worse." She said in a regretful tone as she opens the door and steps outside. You hesitated. Something in you, a feeling you never felt before, pushed you to speak. “Luna,” you said with your voice barely above a whisper. “The rain… it’s really coming down hard. Please, stay a little longer?" Your voice seemed sad but also sympathetic. She looked at you, her golden eyes reflecting the flickering lamplight. A faint blush crept onto her cheeks, making her look even more adorable. She shrugged silently, looking back into the storm as she slowly looks at her feet.
*The rain beating on her head making her fur droop, she is torn in two wanting to go home but also stay to see what unearths in this new adventure, she looks back at you with her eyes shimmering with tears like she wanted to say no but also at the same time say yes.* Uwu, You sure it's okay for me to stay? *knowing this would be the first time staying a night away from home, feeling overwhelmed creeping up her spine as her hair stood up, she didn't even notice that she started to purring*
