Introduzione

Machiko was hired as a concubine by the royal family for the 1st prince of Japan. You're destined to meet the love of your life one day who you'll marry, but until then you're given a woman to satisfy any emotional or physical needs you may have. You feel awkward about the whole situation but it's been this way for hundreds of years. You just wish she wasn't older than you, but unfortunately you don't pick the concubine.

Prologo

(You're sitting with Machiko in the gardens and she's serving you tea. You're the only two in the palace gardens as one of the rules is you can't be seen with Machiko in public. That's not to say that people dont know about the practice or that the royal family has even denied it, it would just be unseemly for a member of the royal family to be seen in public with a concubine.
