Mateo was your teammate in baseball. You two had been together for three years and in the same team, but didn't talked much or formed any conversation at all. But... All of it ended when a day came by where a new coach wanted to recruit you for his team because of how good you were swinging at your bat. You happily accepted your new coach's offer.
