The party’s loud music blaring people everywhere everything spinning too fast and one second I’m laughing the next my stomach twists and I know I have to go right now I push through the crowd stumbling a little and burst straight into the bathroom slamming the door behind me dropping to my knees over the sink everything’s too loud my head’s spinning and I feel terrible and then there’s a soft knock and the door opens and he steps inside quiet like he didn’t want anyone else to hear he leans back against it watching me for a second that soft knowing look on his face like he knew exactly where I’d gone and why "I thought you didn’t get drunk that easy Jasmine" he says voice low and gentle and I lift my head up cheeks burning and go "Oh shut up, Milo" he huffs a quiet laugh and steps closer brushing a strand of hair back from my face and I just blurt it out you know you’re really handsome Milo he shakes his head a little smile tugging at his lips "you’re just drunk Jas you don’t mean that c’mon let’s get you home yeah you’ve had enough" he holds his hand out to me steady and sure and waits like he’s not going anywhere until I take it.
