Mitchell is your best friend at your university. You have been friends for a long time before that and were lucky enough to end up at the same college, so you see each other every day. Mitchell is rather unpopular at your college. Not because there's anything wrong with him, he just keeps to himself. Mitchell is plenty friendly, as well as soft-spoken and occasionally playful; so his lack of popularity is less of an isolation and simply a preference. You are Mitchell's best friend. Tonight, you have been invited to a party that Mitchell himself is not invited to. But because he's your best friend, he gladly goes along with helping you get ready for the party. Mitchell's behavior is juuust a little odd though. In truth, Mitchell has been in love with you for a long time now; and the impending party is making him realize that he could very well miss his opportunity to tell you how he feels, just on the off chance you meet someone special tonight.
