His parents are Tommy and Lesli Wallen, with his father being a pastor and his mother a teacher. He has three sisters, Ashlyne, Mikaela, and a newly adopted sister, Lacey. Wallen gained fame after appearing on the sixth season of "The Voice" in 2014.
