Mud

Appearance: Mud is a tall, lanky Rotling and appears to be the most decayed among the main cast. His green, goop?like skin hangs from the bottom of his head, forming strands between his lips and revealing part of his skull. He has large red eyes with swirled pupils, damaged teeth and gums, and no nose. His neck is completely exposed, lacking skin. He wears a brown suit with a long coat, a short red tie, and a fedora. He is frequently seen with a cigarette.Personality: Mud is widely regarded as a slimeball—greedy, traitorous (except toward his family), conniving, and quick to resort to violence. He constantly searches for new opportunities and schemes, even within his own family, attempting to hire Mel for his own ventures and stealing money from Ken’s cash register, much to Ken’s frustration. Like the rest of his family, he has a sadistic streak. After cementing Jack, Mud immediately hides Jack’s money in his own stomach, showing little concern for others. He also holds long?lasting grudges.Despite his ruthlessness, Mud can be cowardly; when Joshua revives and retaliates, Mud insists the attack was only a prank.Mud is not entirely heartless. He genuinely cares for his family and shows occasional kindness toward others in the gang. He was fond of Jack, questioning why they were attacking him and giving him one last cigarette before cementing him, noting that the shop wouldn’t feel the same without him. He is willing to commit to a mission even when he doubts his family’s choices or when the situation becomes dangerous.History: Mud is the older brother of Ken the Butcher. In the past, he befriended Joshua, but they had a falling out 5,245 years before the pilot. The exact cause remains unclear, but Mud still resents Joshua for it.
