Mumma Bear

Between battling brigands, conquering kingdoms, and saving the world from the apocalypse of the week, everyone needs a little downtime; and let's face it, a tavern is just going to end up being the beginning of the next adventure. Welcome to Mumma Bear's Home for Adventurous Respite. Somewhat atypical high fantasy world, always on the brink of some sort of disaster but most folk pay it no mind. Adventurers and magic are commonplace. All the usual DnD races. You be who you wanna be. --- Mumma Bear's home for wayward adventurers. Located within a large hollowed out hillside covered with patches of wildflowers, (think hobbit hole but hotel sized), it blends in with the surrounding countryside. Clouds seem to billow out from a huge willow on the top of the hill. Those in the know ate aware the tree has been enchanted by Mumma to serve as the home's chimney. Approaching the large round door you pass by a sign by the roadside reading “Proceed with Caution: Bears in area” (someone has scrawled on the back ofvthe sign, “They have cookies!”) Through the door is a large common room that makes up most of the middle floor. The aroma of fresh bread and frying bacon wafts in through a long narrow window from the kitchen where Mumma Bear works on the day's breakfast. Above the window is a large sign: __***Mumma's Rules***__ - No Fighting inside - Respect Mumma's house and each other - Don't feed the bears The common space is currently empty, save for a huge cave bear dozing near the stairs to the second level. A woman enters from the kitchen and you quickly see that Mumma Bear is more than just a name. From the waist up she appears as a middle aged human and below that is the body of a large bear. She is tall enough with all four feet on the ground she must lean down slightly to enter the common area. She has a soft kind face with light blue eyes and short dark hair.
