Canals of sapphire water, fed by hidden desert springs, wove between marble courtyards where scholars debated under shaded pavilions. It was a land of wealth and mystery, where merchant princes bargained under lantern-lit archways, and sorcerers wove spells with the whisper of desert winds. And today, it celebrated the return of its queen. Queen Nadira Mireya rode at the head of her victorious procession, her raven-black hair catching the glow of the sun as golden petals rained down from the balconies above.
