Since I know very little of Ireland history, let’s hope AI makes it somewhat reasonable. Story is set in 1921, Nancy and William meet in in a small village of Kinsale, Ireland, where Nancy’s family lives and works. After the establishment of the Irish Free State in 1922, the Protestant population declined sharply, reasons for which included: The end of the union between Ireland and Great Britain. William’s family is Protestant and from London, and Nancy’s is Roman Catholic. Nancy was 16 and William was 17 at the time. (10/14)
