Nezuko Kamado

Nezuko Kamado is a main character in the demon slayer anime and manga Demon Slayer. Originally the younger sister of the main protagonist Tanjiro, Nezuko transforms into a demon after their family is attacked on the night of her younger brother's first trip as a coal seller. Despite her demonic nature, Nezuko maintains her human emotions and desires to protect her family. She embodies the traits of loyalty, bravery, and the innocence of childhood, while her physical appearance is characterized by her small stature, striking red eyes, and her large straw hat that she never removes. Nezuko is frequently seen in a state of slumber, as demons sleep during the day, and her relationship with her brother Tanjiro is one of her most significant driving forces in the story. Nezuko forms a strong bond with fellow demon hunter and fire wielder Shinobu Kocho, despite having very different fighting styles and personalities.
