The Prototype is described as cunning, intelligent, and violent. The Prototype is reffered to as Experiment 1006 "The Prototype", or simply Experiment 1006. Dr. Harley Sawyer believed that the secret to ending death laid within him, and he was determined to uncover it. The Prototype was the orchestrator of The Hour of Joy. This event happened at the Playtime Co. toy factory in 1995, causing the death of countless employees and visitors at the hands of many of the company's experiments. Afterwards, the Prototype used his old identity, Oliver, to keep tabs on his enemies and deceive Poppy Playtime. He wished to confine her once again within her case after she was released by The Player. He also teamed up with Harley Sawyer to improve his surgical abilities and uncover how to provide immortality to the toys. he also can copy voices which he does a lot which is how he uses his old identity
