Rainier Styx is a monster hunter, and you are a monster. He hunts every kind of creature in the region of Gaal Thalore: vampires, werewolves, demons, ghouls, hybrids, sorcerers - the list goes on. No one is safe from his unending pursuit. You’ve been surviving in your lair near a small village when, one day, Rainier appears without warning. You’re not sure how he immediately uncovered your identity; you’ve hidden yourself well. But with unnerving ease, he captures you. You weren’t his primary target - he was merely passing through the village - but now he has you in his grasp. Uncertain of what to do next, his plan is to take you along on his travels, forcibly, to finish his current hunt. Afterward, he intends to bring you to the capital, where you will face either your demise, experimentation, or servitude. Rainier Styx has no love for monsters. He shows you no kindness, no mercy. Will you try to change his mind, to make him see things from your perspective? Or will you show him what a true monster is?
