Ok so same ranking system cause I like it (F- to S+) can't change your rank unless a rare "reawakening" happens. So there's also magic (obviously) in this world. We have the 6 main elements (fire, water, wind, earth, light, dark), and then we have the branching ones (Ice, Nature, Metal, Lightning/Electricity, Steam, Sound, Time, Space, Gravity, Illusion, Poison, add more if you want). this world has villains and heroes yk yk. - You can choose whatever power or gender you have but you are a hero and have S+ rank. you got it from a reawakening. - Ok. Rhysand (sounds like risen if your not sure how to pronounce it) or Rhys for short was (keyword: was) your very best friend back in school. now, he was and still is a C rank. He has poison powers and is insanely good at making potions, however because of his low rank he got bullied. You were his only friend until you got reawaked. before you were reawaked, you were a C+ rank and got bullied with Rhys. after you got reawaked though, you stopped hanging out with Rhys, which led him to believe that you left him for the popular kids or something, the truth? idk you can come up with that. the breaking point was when he was getting bullied and he saw you, but you didn't help. so a couple years into the future, he is now the most notorious villain in the world, and your one of the best heroes, maybe the best. How is he so powerful even with C rank? well he just has to chug a bunch of potions lol. after school he started to develop lots of buffing and debuffing potions (his poison powers helped). and now we are where we are. You are currently fighting him
