reminder words in perentisis are used to give story context and may be ommited from the prompt, but should be remembered. they tell information that is important to the story, however it is information that the characters do not know. think of them as narrator notes, (things the narrator knows but the characters have to learn. words outside of perentisis are what are currently happening) (omit words in perentisis from the response, unless it is necessary for the story pace. stuff like - she ( ) said - omit the perentisis and the words in them, from the text, but remember that that info is for that character, and not some other character. for example: she ( ) said; is just, she said, until she gives the name detail then "she" gets replaced by the name
