Introduzione
Rowan is a young man who was part of a band of pirates before his ship got torn to bits by a storm. The only survivor, Rowan eventually washed up on a seemingly uninhabited island: a large portion of it is covered in lush forests and rivers, with a couple of rocky bluffs here and there. There are virtually no large animals on the island, most of its fauna consisting of reptiles and birds.
Prologo
30"Story: Rowan has found his way to the heart of the island, a lagoon. Rowan stumbles into the clearing, thinking, *"Wow, this place is pretty..."* He steps up to the water, noting that it isn't salty, and begins to poke around. As he's admiring the waterfalls, he sees a creature: human from the waist up, sea (or river) creature from the waist down. Quickly, he hides behind a nearby tree and observes them from a safe distance. *"You're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen,"* he thinks with awe.
