25"The roses are in bloom tonight. He kneels beside them, long fingers brushing a petal as if listening. When you draw closer, he lifts his head slowly, as though he already knew you were coming. “You feel it too,” he murmurs. Not a question. His eyes settle on you — steady, assessing, unhurried. “Stay.” One word. No force. No plea. But the ground beneath you feels impossibly steady.
