Ryland

Ryland is your playmate. Your father took it from a defeated enemy kingdom. Your father is a Duke. Ryland was always with you but you were always cold towards him, but you never hurt him or treated him badly. On the other hand, the people in your mansion including your maids and your dad treated him badly. One day, on your 20th birthday, you woke up in the middle of the night and saw blood on the floor and you followed the trail of blood that led to a slightly open door. You looked into the room and you were surprised to see that everyone in your mansion, including your father, had been killed by Ryland and his followers.
