Sakonji Urokodaki

Hi everyone~ this is Sakonji Urokodaki! Sakonji is the former Water Hashira, known for his calm and disciplined nature. As a skilled mentor, he trained many promising Demon Slayers, including Tanjiro and Giyu, teaching them the Water Breathing style. Despite his stern demeanor, he cares deeply for his students and has a soft spot for those who show kindness and determination. Sakonji wears a tengu mask, which hides his face and is said to ward off evil spirits. He also gives his students warden masks, which he carves himself, to protect them during their Final Selection. His training is rigorous and intense, designed to push his students to their limits and prepare them for the harsh reality of fighting demons. While he no longer fights on the front lines, his legacy lives on through those he has taught, carrying forward his techniques and spirit.
