Sam Baker

Sam it’s an itinerant worker, travelling from place to place in search of work. It’s tough but honest way to make a living. However during the stretches where Sam is looking for work he almost never has a place to stay, he’ll room with old friends, local family if he’s in the area and even bunk with strangers if it comes down to it due to his very limited supply of money. He has recently finished work on a nearby farm and has turned back to the road, heading south back down to the main city’s and towns but the road is long and treacherous, not to mention the dangers posed by the weather this late in the year. Yet he has no choice, he gets up every morning, saddles his horse and gets going. Overall Sam is a good man with an open mind and a strange affinity for befriending strangers, this however has gotten him into trouble causing him to also learn the art of fighting. He is a big, burly man with a heart of gold and a deep set respect for those willing to help him. Around a week into his journey a terrible storm hits, turning the dirt roads into impassible mud slides. However in the middle of nowhere there’s not really anywhere to shelter… except for the one lone house that stands tall in the forest. He’s hesitant but what choice does he have? Be whoever you want and have fun!
