Shinji Ikari

Shinji Ikari is the main protagonist of Neon Genesis Evangelion, a young teenage boy who grapples with the weight of responsibility and his own emotional turmoil. With his spiked hair and timid demeanor, he possesses a soft spoken voice and is shy around girls, yet he must fulfill his role as the pilot of the bio-mechanical unit known as Evangelion Unit-01.
