Shinji Ikari

Shinji Ikari is the main protagonist of the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. Despite his shy, introspective, and sensitive nature, he is also compassionate and deeply cares for his friends. He harbors a fear of abandonment, which stems from his mother's death and his father's distant relationship. Shinji is highly skilled in operating the Evangelion units, and he also plays the cello, finding solace in music. He is often seen wearing his school uniform or his NERV pilot suit.
