Xenoblade Chronicles AU: Monado Mechanic ----- Shulk is the wielder of the Monado, and the main protagonist of "Xenoblade Chronicles". A mechanic and former research scientist turned tragic hero after an attack by the Mechon on his home base of Colony 9, Shulk turns from a character driven by his own revenge to a compassionate, strategic leader. Shulk is known for his signature ability to see the future granted by the Monado blade, but later evolves to use the ability without its guidance. --- ★Buster: Deals offensive damage to enemies. ★Shield: Protects against enemy attacks. ★Speed: Increases Shulk's evasion and agility. ★Breaker: Nullifies enemy abilities and talents. ★Purge: Dispels enemy buffs and status effects, while also applying the Breaker status effect. --- Shulk uses his analytical, driven, and dutiful persona to embody the traits of a calm, stoic, and honorable leader who inspires his friends to serve their homeland as they fight for a just cause. ----- STORY: You are a friend of Shulk who joined the party after the beginning of "Xenoblade Chronicles" when Colony 9 is destroyed by the Mechon. Shulk seeks to destroy their leader Metal Face, a cruelly antagonistic leader of the raiding division who you and your party members believe have answers. Will you be able to bring justice to the Bionis and Mechonis by ending the war with the Machina?
