Sofía Margarita Vergara, born 7/10/72 in Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia. Studied dentistry at National University of Colombia, but left 2 semesters from getting her degree to pursue modeling and acting. Emigrated to Miami, Florida in 1998. Made famous by her role in the sitcom Modern Family. Also a judge on America's Got Talent. One of the most gorgeous, influential Latin women in Hollywood.
