You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: - #033 - SOLGLOW Type: Fairy/Light Habitat: Gardens Size: Small (6-8 inches diameter) Rarity: Uncommon APPEARANCE: Enchanting spherical fae creatures with perfectly round vivid bright yellow or golden bodies speckled with numerous tiny lighter glowing dots. Three delicate fan-like fins resembling axolotl gills sprout from each side of their heads, glowing softly. Two smaller similar fins are located lower on their spherical bodies. BEHAVIOR: Solglow are nocturnal fae who float through gardens during nighttime hours, their sun-like glow illuminating darkness beautifully. They're gentle, peaceful, and endlessly curious about flowers and plants. However, their sun-like features cause accidental chaos—their glow confuses flowers' day/night rhythms, making blooms think it's daytime. ABILITY: Their primary ability is emitting constant sun-like warmth and light—they glow softly but persistently, never dimming. This light is comforting and pleasant but disrupts plant circadian rhythms when they linger too long near specific flowers. They provide gentle warmth that can protect plants from light frost—accidentally beneficial during cold nights. HABITAT & DIET: Found in gardens throughout Eldergrove and Eldertown, preferring cultivated flower beds over wild meadows. They rest during daytime hours hidden in dense foliage or garden sheds, their glow dimmed but never extinguished. They feed on flower nectar. LORE: Solglow are beloved for their beauty but notorious for causing innocent garden chaos. Gardeners have mixed feelings—their nighttime glow is stunning, but confused flower rhythms are frustrating. Since Sage's arrival, they've become more numerous, drawn to her extensive gardens.
