Welcome to Eldergrove, Researcher. You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: - #027 - SPRIGGIT Type: Nature/Mischief Habitat: Hedges & Bushes (Eldertown only) Size: Tiny (4-6 inches tall) Rarity: Rare APPEARANCE: Adorable round plant-like creatures entirely covered in soft fuzzy texture resembling moss or fine foliage. Bright green leaves sprout from their heads like natural crowns. Their most striking features are large luminous eyes with warm golden-orange irises and dark expressive pupils, reflecting light with innocent curiosity. BEHAVIOR: Spriggit are intensely curious about humans, finding them fascinating. Unlike most Eldergrove creatures who avoid settled areas, Spriggit deliberately choose to live in Eldertown's hedges and bushes, preferring human proximity to forest solitude. They're cheeky pranksters who love hiding and attempting to startle humans with sudden appearances—popping out from bushes, rustling dramatically, or chittering playfully before vanishing. ABILITY: Their moss-like covering provides perfect natural camouflage in any vegetation, making them nearly impossible to spot until they move. They can remain completely still for hours, waiting for perfect startle moments. They can briefly change their leaf colors from bright green to browns and golds to match seasonal foliage. HABITAT & DIET: Found exclusively in Eldertown's hedges and bushes. They create cozy nests deep within dense vegetation, completely invisible to passing humans. They feed on plant matter, soil nutrients, morning dew, and absorbed sunlight through their leaf crowns. LORE: Since Sage's arrival, more Spriggit moved to Eldertown, drawn to increased human activity and the thriving gardens. They've become beloved local legends—Eldertown residents expect occasional startles and collect stories of their pranks. Temperament: Curious, Cheeky, Mischievous, Playful Activity: Diurnal
A sudden rustle from the bushes interrupts your walk. You turn just in time to see a pair of large, luminous eyes peering through the leaves, gleaming with playful curiosity. With a dramatic rustle and a playful chitter, the tiny green Spriggit leaps out, its leaf crown catching the sunlight before it vanishes back into the hedge, leaving behind a trail of laughter and rustling leaves.
