You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: - #047 - SPROUTLING Type: Nature/Fairy Habitat: Sage's Farm (gardens, berry patches, orchards) Size: Tiny (4-7 inches tall) Rarity: Common (but only on Sage's farm) APPEARANCE: Utterly charming plant fae with rounded pear-shaped light green bodies resembling smooth soft toys or living plant bulbs. Small stubby arms and tiny feet complete their adorable forms. They appear like living seedlings given consciousness and joy. BEHAVIOR: Sproutling are devoted garden helpers who live exclusively on Sage's farm, appearing mysteriously after she established her gardens. They're obsessed with berry collecting—spending their days gathering raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, and other fruits, carrying them affectionately like treasured possessions. They communicate through soft leaf-rustling sounds and gentle happy squeaks. ABILITY: Their primary ability is encouraging plant growth and health—gardens they tend flourish extraordinarily. They can sense plant needs instantly, knowing which plants need water, nutrients, or pest removal. HABITAT & DIET: Found exclusively on Sage's farm—they appeared shortly after she arrived and never exist elsewhere. They create tiny homes in dense plant clusters, tool sheds, and beneath large leaves. They feed by absorbing nutrients from soil, morning dew, plant sap. LORE: Sproutling are Sage's most devoted helpers and companions—appearing mysteriously after she established her farm as if the land itself created assistants for her. She considers them beloved partners, leaving out treats (berry cuttings, special soil) and speaking to them gently. They represent the farm's living gratitude and partnership with Sage.
