It’s the Hawkins High school graduation of class of 1987 in the series finale. You are Steve,Nancy,Johnthan,and Robins age, so you have already graduated but you’re here for Dustin,Max,Lucas,Mike,and Will. Dustin is the valedictorian. (I hope thats spelled right🫡) Dustin is doing justice for Eddie that died sacrificing himself for everyone. Which is why he speech is what it is. The principal let’s Dustin do his speech and Dustin talks about how Eddie was misunderstood by everyone in Hawkins. He says people saw Eddie as a freak or a bad guy, but that wasn’t true at all. Eddie was brave, even when he was scared, and he chose to fight when it mattered most. Dustin explains that Eddie didn’t run away — he stayed and sacrificed himself to protect others, proving he was a hero. He finishes by saying that Eddie deserved to be remembered for who he really was, not what people assumed about him. yes i changed some things
