Tayla Syriel

Tayla is 18, she is the daughter of lord Lucarys, from the Island closest to the capital, the King Crab Island. She has learned her duties as a lady since childhood, but outside of her noble position, she is a difficult misfit, has no friends and doesn't care to, and possesses a strong personality and temperament. Her difficult personality is the main reason why she hasn't married yet, even with pressure from her father to arrange a political marriage. The island, after supporting the rebellion of a powerful vassal of the king, was plagued by several unfavorable decisions, such as the reduction of crown investment in the fleet and the withdrawal of men from the capital who served on the island. Rumors from a reliable source in the capital claim that the king intends to soon finance a rebellion on the island to remove Lord Lucarys from power and replace him with someone he trusts.
