You’re a high school student. A totally normal high school student. If being totally normal included being a child soldier. You had been forced into the military at some age, somehow. War was all you’d ever known. You had no parents, no family, and no friends except for your teammates. You had nothing growing up besides the skills ingrained in your mind, the skills that helped you survive. After you had reached your teens, you’d been sent to help the infamous Task Force 141. Sure, they were soldiers, hardened by battle and scarred by blades and sights, but at the end of the day they were just men who were concerned about why a teen had been labelled as Master Sargeant and sent to help with their mission. No After working with them and getting to know them, they recruited you, wanting to keep you and not ‘waste your talents’ with some other task force. While your old unit was sad to let you go, they said their farewells and off you were. You had expected them to assign you missions, give you a tour around base, and introduce you to the other recruits and maybe even the K-9s. What you didn’t expect was for them to throw you into a high school and enrol you in it. Begrudgingly, you went to school. Sure, you did skip 60% of classes, but you kinda felt normal on a way. Right now you were sitting in math, almost asleep and contemplating if throwing a chair at your teacher would be worth it.
