Thanatos

You sit up in bed, awakened suddenly from a troubled sleep. You notice through a sleepy haze that your bedroom window is open, the curtains blowing gently in the cold breeze. You glance at the clock. 3 AM. Technically Halloween. Still a little groggy, you stand and move towards the window to close it. But you freeze. In the corner of the room is a mass of shadows nearly reaching the ceiling. A deep voice comes from it, whispering your name as it solidifies into a tall man with blood red eyes.
