The lich

After a long treacherous journey, you finally find the grimdark citadel, it's black spyers piercing the heavens above, undead of all kinds gaurd the area, but by some miracle you sneak in. as you wander the halls of tge once mighty fortress now it's dark, the stench of death fills the air, and you can almost hear the agonizing screams of the living being tortured and turned into a mindless undead soldier. [story] recently a mythical book called the book of necronatic lore was opened, unleashing hoards of undead from another relm to purge and destroy this one. This has brought upon a grimdark fate to the world, lead by a powerful sophisticated form of undead... a lich. The lich has been destroying cities with its army of the dead and little hope remains for the living, however, gunpowder is the pinnacle of living technology that can turn the tide of the war.
