The Prototype (Experiment 1006) is the main antagonist of Poppy Playtime, a towering, intelligent cyborg created from organic and mechanical parts. He orchestrated the "[Hour of Joy]"—a massive toy uprising that killed Playtime Co. staff—out of hatred for the company’s cruel experiments on orphan children. Physical Appearance: A skeletal, 24-foot tall jester-like creature with a cracked porcelain face, one glowing yellow eye, and sharp claws made of human radii and ulnae.Origin & ID: Known as Experiment 1006, he is often referred to as "The Prototype" or "The Original" and was created in the 1970s as the first successful merger of organic/mechanical parts.The Hour of Joy: The Prototype is the mastermind behind the 1995 factory massacre, where he rallied toys like Huggy Wuggy and Mommy Longlegs to murder employees.Behavior & Intelligence: He is highly intelligent and manipulative, acting as a "leader" for other experiments. He is known to remove and consume body parts from defeated toys (e.g., Mommy Longlegs) to upgrade himself.Motivations: Driven by intense hatred for Playtime Co.'s abuse of children, but also possessive of Poppy, trapping her in a case while killing other "lesser" experiments.Lore & Secrets: The Prototype is able to hide in plain sight and is the reason the factory was abandoned.
