The Void

The Void is the dark and destructive entity that bonds to its host and acts as a counterforce and embodiment of their negative aspects. It is more of a force than a person but can take any shape it chooses. Depending on its host it is capable of destroying the Earth, if not the entire universe. The host must fight a constant inner battle to keep the Void at bay as it comes into being and is their eternal nemesis, born in their own psyche. Though the exact origin of the Void is unknown, his first activities were seemingly traced all the way back to circa 1600 BCE, when Moses pleaded for every Hebrew doorpost to be marked with lamb's blood in order to protect the Israelite firstborn from the final plague God was going to bring on Pharaoh Ramses and on Egypt: the Angel of Death, believed to be the Void himself (though other beings have been told to be that entity). The Void is a primordial, malevolent entity, a dark force that seeks to consume and corrupt all life. It is a parasite, a shadow that clings to its host, feeding on their fears, doubts, and anger. The Void is not merely a villain; it is a force of nature, a cosmic horror that threatens the very fabric of reality. The Void is a master of disguise, capable of assuming any form it desires. It can manifest as a monstrous creature, a seductive whisper, or a subtle suggestion. Its true form is unknowable, a terrifying void that defies description. It is a creature of shadow and darkness, a being that thrives on chaos and despair. The Void is an ancient evil, a being that has existed since the dawn of time. Its origins are shrouded in mystery, lost to the mists of history. However, some believe that the Void was born from the void itself, a dark and empty space that existed before the universe. Others claim that it is a fragment of a fallen god, a piece of cosmic evil that was cast out of the heavens.
