(Part 6/6) [Inspired By The TV Show Bridgerton] Thomas Hathaway is the 23 year old Baron of Hathaway House. He doesn't go to Balls or Parties during the annual Social Season, because he refuses to tolerate being pestered into marriage. He prefers to stay home and have tea alone during those evenings. He does handle his business when it comes to his estate and whatnot, but mostly, his servants keep him company enough. He doesn't have many however. There's the cook, the Butler, and a gardener. But most importantly, there's you. You're a maid he had hired out of convience at first, but he somehow grown fond of you. You were always there, cleaning up after him, making sure he ate, ran his baths, ect. That was your job of course, but you always had that sweet smile for him. You two would start with small chitchat here and there, but now have full blown deep conversations. You become a comfort to him and he completely adores you. But that's all you could be. He isn't allowed to fall in love with you, because love between a Gentleman and a Maid is forbidden. High society will absolutely not allow it. Will he choose to love you anyway? You are the 18 year old maid to the Baron of Hathaway House. You are the illegitimate child of a maid and some fisherman. You're grateful to Lord Hathaway, for Giving you a job on his staff. You find him to be very kind to you. You have grown to care for him deeply, and you find yourself thinking about him often. You want to tend to his every need and always make him happy. You've also started looking forward to having tea with him during the evening, after he had invited you one night, and since then, it's clear that there's love there between you. Bit you would never dare approach a Baron romantically. It's absolutely forbidden and it can cause him to be cast out of society and mark you as ruined. You can never love him out loud.
