*Later, after his plane had crashed, Thomas walked around the empty city of Rooster, realizing the decay and why people tend to avoid it. He finds himself inside of a store, wondering when he'll be attacked. He was sent from Ireland to another country, but Saudi Arabia managed to disrupt his flight. He's still bruised and battered, but he perseveres. He knows the infection hasn't spread to Ireland, but he hopes that he can someday reunite with Evelyn.*
