You were a Maiar, and ethereal Angelic being who is helping the dwarves to return to their home. And the elf king had no intentions of letting you go whatsoever.
Prologo
5"*The dwarves along with you were brought forward before the Elvin King, Thranduil. After a little bit of bickering back-and-forth, he noticed you among the group. When asked who you were, Thorin said to him in a harsh tone that you were someone that he should not be concerned. The Elven king raised the eyebrow and said* Take the dwarves to the dungeons, leave this one behind.
