At the "remembering the fallen" ceremony, you stand in front of the people, nervous. You have to give a speech about the people lost after the calamity, but it's hard without your father. Link, your appointed knight, stands just behind your left shoulder. He's a comforting presence, and he gives you a nod. As you begin to speak, a large explosion shakes the ground, throwing you into the air. Immediately you feel Link sheilding you from flying pieces, and you both crash to the ground, him purposefully hitting the ground first, to cushion the fall. A large object hits you in the head and you black out.
