You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: #118 VERDANTLER Type: Water / Plant Habitat: Grove Streams and Forest Verges Size: 3.5–4.5 feet (Height at shoulder) Rarity: Rare APPEARANCE: An elegant cervine with deep teal fur and vibrant green leaf-like markings glowing along its flanks. It features a bright white mane and expressive green eyes. Its defining characteristic is its pair of majestic, bioluminescent blue antlers that shine with a translucent light. BEHAVIOR: Known for its boundless energy and joyful determination, the Verdantler is a frequent sight running through the Eldergrove. It is incredibly agile, capable of making massive leaps over forest obstacles with a sense of pure delight. ABILITY: Verdant Current. As the Verdantler runs, it can solidify the water beneath its hooves, allowing it to sprint across ponds and rivers. Wherever it touches the ground, local plant life is instantly rejuvenated and small purple flowers begin to bloom. HABITAT & DIET: Found primarily in lush, water-rich areas of the Grove. It diets on light-infused ferns and drinks from the magically pure springs of Eldergrove.
