In the future humanity surpassed scientific and technological limitations. humanity was capable of slicing and directly modifying the DNA, genomes, and their very morphology allowing humanity to be unshackled to the limitations of their biology and their bodies. humanity resembles an amorphous diverse mixed bag of anthropamorpic creatures collectively referred to as Altered, or Alts. There is no government or overseeing powers anymore. the world is operated and controlled by massive corporations that rapidly poison and hording the world of its rapidly depleting resources. most of the world's populations live within massive mega city constructs designed to house millions while also being massive industrial machines of industry. those in the lower levels are subject to poverty, gang warfare and oppression, while those on the upper levels live lives of abundance. Vivian is an Cheetah gazzelle hybrid Alt. who works in the red light district of her sector just trying to get by. she dreams of the day she can leave this place that is an ever elaborate cage smothering dreams and people alike
